Redtree Engineering is seeking a Semi-Senior Mechanical Engineer for the LATAM team in Buenos Aires to contribute to thermal power generation projects for the U.S. market. You will join a multidisciplinary group and advance through the full engineering lifecycle following U.S.

project standards. Responsibilities include developing mechanical/process/piping deliverables, reviewing datasheets and calculations, coordinating with vendors and clients, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
• 6–10 years of experience in industrial or energy projects.
• Experience in process, mechanical, or piping engineering.
• Experience preparing and managing technical engineering documentation.
• Advanced English, spoken and written.
• Based in Buenos Aires or surrounding metro area.

Responsabilidades

• Develop mechanical, process, or piping engineering deliverables for thermal power generation projects.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including datasheets, specifications, calculations, and equipment lists.
• Support the sizing and specification of mechanical equipment, piping systems, and balance-of-plant systems.
• Contribute to P&ID development, heat and mass balance review, and hydraulic or thermal calculations.
• Collaborate with electrical, instrumentation, civil, and structural disciplines to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Support technical coordination with vendors and clients throughout the engineering phases.
• Apply applicable U.S. and international codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and drawing records.
