Crystalia Glass LLC is expanding its Supply Engineering team and seeking a Team Lead to scale procurement operations and mentor four engineers. The role requires hands-on sourcing with US-based suppliers and international markets, plus strong leadership and global supplier relationship skills.

The position offers a remote/on-site work arrangement with standard hours, competitive compensation, and paid time off.

Formación

• 3+ years in procurement/engineering roles for US markets or international equivalents.
• Experience with suppliers across international markets including US, Europe, Middle East, Asia.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering docs.
• Fluent English required; Russian language is a plus.

Crystalia Glass LLC is a U.S.-based manufacturer and provider of premium custom glass solutions for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. For more than 9 years, we have operated as a full-cycle company, managing every stage of the process - from design and manufacturing to sales, delivery, and installation. With production facilities in both the United States and Europe, we deliver high-quality solutions to customers across the U.S.

As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our Supply Engineering team and are looking for an experienced Supply Engineering Team Lead to help scale our operations, optimize supply processes, and lead a high-performing team.

The Role

The Supply Engineering Team Lead will report directly to the Chief Technical Officer and lead a team of four Supply Engineers.

Approximately 80% of the role focuses on team leadership, coordination, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, while 20% involves hands-on supply engineering activities to support the team during peak workload, employee absences, or complex projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient procurement operations, developing internal processes, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Please note: previous professional experience working with the US market is required for this position. We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on procurement/sourcing experience involving US-based suppliers and international markets.

Responsibilities

• Procurement operations
• Launch production by coordinating glass orders and ensuring the availability of required hardware and materials
• Plan inventory levels and forecast procurement needs
• Review technical drawings and specifications to prepare accurate material lists
• Verify dimensions, finishes, and quality requirements before placing orders
• Track engineering documentation and procurement changes throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure procurement documentation and component orders are completed before production and container arrivals
• Source, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
• Manage purchasing activities for production, warehouse, and installation operations
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality, logistics, and delivery issues
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, supplier performance, and cost optimization
• Work closely with Sales, Project Managers, Engineers, Estimators, Warehouse, and Installation teams
• Support engineering changes, material substitutions, and procurement planning
• Provide procurement expertise, material recommendations, and pricing information for projects
• Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications and technical documentation
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four Supply Engineers
• Assign tasks, prioritize workloads, and monitor project deadlines
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and provide coaching and performance feedback
• Review procurement documentation, material lists, and purchase orders prepared by the team
• Support engineers with complex sourcing challenges and supplier escalations
• Coordinate procurement activities with internal stakeholders across departments
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize procurement workflows
• Report progress, risks, and operational updates to the Chief Technical Officer

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Procurement Engineer, Supply Engineer, or in a similar engineering procurement role on the US market
• Previous people management or team leadership experience
• Experience working with suppliers across international markets, including the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia
• Experience with procurement, sourcing, and import/export of engineering or production materials
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PDF tools
• Experience working with task management systems such as ClickUp or similar
• Fluent English is a must
• Fluent Russian will be a plus
