Substitute Teacher
Lincoln School is seeking Substitute Teachers to join our Substitute Teacher Roster
Position Summary
Substitute Teachers provide coverage for planned and unexpected teacher absences, including short-notice assignments and longer periods during planned leaves of absence. The Substitute Teacher Roster also allows the school to identify candidates for future longer-term substitute opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide instructional and classroom support during teacher absences.
- Follow lesson plans, classroom routines, and instructions provided by the regular teacher or school leadership.
- Support students across different grade levels and ages, from 4 to 17.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and administrators.
- Adapt to different classroom settings, grade levels, and student needs.
- Respond to substitute requests with flexibility and professionalism.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Argentine teaching degree highly valued.
Languages
- Advanced to native-level fluency in both English and Spanish preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of successful teaching experience preferred.
- Experience teaching Elementary School Spanish valued.
- Experience working with different grade levels and age groups preferred.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
- Flexibility to work with students ages 4–17; candidates may indicate grade-level or age preferences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and needs.

Work Schedule
- On-call position with no fixed hours.
- School-day availability Monday-Friday, 7:45 a.m.-4:15 p.m. is expected; actual assignments will be occasional and temporary, depending on school needs.
Employment Information
- Hiring is completed through AFIP using CUIL and DNI.
- Payment is made in Argentine pesos.
