LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time substitute teacher to support LifeWise classes. The ideal candidate is a practicing Christian and active church member who can convey Biblical knowledge with clarity.

You will complete substitute training, implement provided lessons, maintain a safe classroom, and communicate with volunteers and the supervising teacher. Responsibilities include attendance, records, and upholding LifeWise policies.

Formación

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the What We Believe section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the What We Believe section

Responsabilidades

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures
• Follow the program's student discipline policy
• Take attendance in each class and provide attendance records to the teacher
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom
• Know procedures for emergency situations
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and assign duties
• Communicate with the teacher

Overview

LifeWise substitute teachers will demonstrate excellence in Biblical knowledge and teaching abilities. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is caring, perceptive and proficient in teaching students.
