Medallia is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for the Nexus Data Platform to own the analytical serving layer and multi-tenant workloads. You will shape topology, ingestion, and SLA-driven reporting across multiple tenants and programs.

You will mentor engineers, define contracts with upstream ETL, and ensure secure, observable operations at scale in a hybrid environment. Strong English communication is required.

Formación

• 10+ years building large-scale analytical/OLAP serving systems in production.
• Experience operating an OLAP engine at scale (StarRocks, ClickHouse, Druid, or similar).
• Designing multi-tenant SaaS serving-layer architectures with SLA tradeoffs.
• Proficient in analytical schema design and evolution at scale.
• Understanding data from upstream streaming systems for ingest contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Set technical direction for the platform's analytical serving layer.
• Own OLAP serving strategy end-to-end and benchmark-driven SLA gates.
• Define the contract boundary between ETL and analytical serving.
• Lead production hardening of the serving layer (deployment, security, observability).
• Represent the layer in cross-team forums with product and analytics partners.
• Mentor senior engineers on OLAP schema design and operations.
