A leading multinational corporation is seeking a Senior Manager Finance to oversee the financial planning and analysis for the Latin America's Clinical Trials Division. This role will require proven leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team. Ideal candidates will have a strong accounting/finance background with at least 8 years of experience, fluency in Spanish and English, and advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling. The position is based in Buenos Aires with full P&L responsibility across the region.

Formación

  • Minimum of 8+ years of Accounting/Finance experience.
  • Experience working in Latin America and in multinational companies.
  • Ability to drive process optimization and implement change.

Responsabilidades

  • Full P&L responsibility for the Latin America Region within Clinical Trials Division.
  • Provide financial leadership and strategic partnership to CTD leadership teams.
  • Engage in Latin America Operational Finance (approximately $90m in revenue).

  • Lead data analysis for the business using complex data.

Position Summary

The Senior Manager Finance position will be an integral member of the Latin Americas Clinical Trials Team, as well as the Americas Finance Leadership team. The Senior Finance Manager will lead the financial planning and analysis activities, as well as Accounting for Latin America Clinical Trials Division. This team member will business partner with the Latin America leadership to develop and implement strategies to drive double digit growth. The role will require accounting, planning, analyzing, forecasting, budgeting, and business intelligence activities in support of the Business Unit’s goals.

Education
  • An undergraduate degree in Finance, or Accounting is required
Experience
  • Must speak fluent Spanish and English
  • Must have experience working in Latin America and Multinational company
  • Minimum of 8+ years of Accounting/Finance experience
  • MBA/CPA preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal social skills
  • Strong experience business modeling and forecasting
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, PowerBI and Hyperion preferred
  • Ability to drive process optimization, implement change, and deliver
  • Attention to detail and highly organized, with the ability to multitask
  • Tried business partner and leader
Responsibilities
  • Full P&L responsibility for the Latin America Region within the Clinical Trials Division (CTD), including sites in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Peru.
  • Provides financial leadership and strategic business partnership to the CTD Latin America leadership teams to drive initiatives to sustain growth.
  • Act as a business partner to the General Managers helping them to meet key operating and financial goals by providing insight to the business and supporting decision making.
  • Lead AOP / QBR / STRAP/ MBR, in a matrixed financial forecast.
  • Engage in Latin America Operational Finance (approximately $90m in revenue).
  • Monitor and analyze financials, including leading monthly and quarterly reporting (revenue, gross margin, OPEX, Key performance measurements, CAPEX).
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, ability to set and implement accounting and financial processes to leverage across the business unit and division.
  • Perform regular balance sheet & compliance reviews.
  • Lead data analysis for the business, using complex data and problem solving.
  • Analyze financial and business performance against key business metrics and identify pertinent financial highlights, enabling understanding of progress against strategic business plans.
  • Develop high quality effective presentations (i.e. engaging, motivating, concise, well-prep).
  • Identify, communicate, and lead risk & opportunities.
  • Build and develop a strong team.
