A global healthcare company is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to provide finance and business partnering leadership to the LATAM team. You will oversee a finance team, guide financial planning, and support operational improvements. Ideal candidates should have over 7 years of finance experience, an MBA or CPA, and strong analytical and communication skills. Senior Finance Manager – CTD Division

How you will make an impact: CTD division is a business within PSG Group, which offers logistics and distribution serving the Clinical trials market. Seeking a Senior Finance Manager who will provide finance and business partnering leadership to the LATAM team. You will lead a finance team of 5 reports and be the business partner for the Americas finance regional controller and regional GM. You will be responsible for the financial planning and analytics. In addition, the position holder will provide valuable decision support, identify and implement operational improvement opportunities and build a strong finance team.

At our corporate offices in Argentina or Brazil.

What you will do:

  • Supervise and analyze financials, including leading monthly and quarterly reporting (revenue, gross margin, OPEX, KPI's, CAPEX).
  • Provides financial leadership and strategic business partnership to the CTD LATAM leadership teams to drive initiatives to sustain double digit growth.
  • Drives ongoing and strategizes new projects and initiatives to support the business growth including but not limited to: footprint expansions, service line / capability expansions and investments, controls modification/implementation, financial system implementation.
  • Co-ordinate the monthly forecasting and annual planning processes; review the outputs with the General Managers and communicate to the Americas Leadership Team via current process.
  • Ensure internal controls are in place and the corporate authority approval matrix is followed. Review and sign off on monthly key account reconciliations and quarterly business unit representation letters.
  • Perform regular balance sheet & compliance reviews.
  • Act as a business partner to the business helping to meet key operating and financial goals by providing insight and supporting decision making.
  • Prepare analysis and authorization requests for capital investments, commercial opportunities and restructuring.
  • Review financial processes and work with the sites to implement consistency, action efficiency improvements, eliminate revenue leakage and improve profitability.
  • Provide leadership and development for the finance team. Establish & monitor departmental and individual goals.
  • Coordinate recruitment and develop a succession plan. Empower & enable the team to become better business partners.
  • Foster the spirit of communication and continuous improvement within the organization using the PPI business system as applicable.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, ability to set and implement best practices for accounting and financial processes to leverage across the business unit and division.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive Finance experience.
  • MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organization.
  • High level analytical capabilities with financial modeling experience.
  • Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) effectively with senior management.
  • Proven leadership qualities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with individuals and teams.
  • Self-starter, initiative and motivation to accomplish tasks with mínimal direction.
  • Proven record of successful individual and team improvement in execution.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects.
  • Validated understanding of Excel (i.e., financial models and analysis), PowerPoint, and Hyperion is helpful.
  • Proficiency in English Speaking/Reading/Writing Required.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese Speaking/Reading/Writing is preferred but not required.
