Techunting is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and BI initiatives. The role emphasizes Snowflake, dbt, and modern data warehousing practices with strong data modeling experience.

You will architect Snowflake environments, develop data pipelines, enforce security and governance, and collaborate across engineering, analytics, and operations to deliver reliable data solutions.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience working within data engineering teams.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing production Snowflake environments.
• 3+ years of professional Data Engineering experience.
• Strong experience building data warehouse solutions using dbt.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Python scripting (or equivalent).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Customer-focused mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, administer, and optimize Snowflake environments.
• Provision and manage Snowflake accounts using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and CI/CD tooling).
• Enforce data security, governance, and privacy standards.
• Perform Snowflake performance tuning and optimization.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and Hevo.
• Build and maintain ETL processes that move large volumes of data across multiple systems and cloud environments.
• Design and implement robust data models using Data Vault 2.0 and Kimball methodologies.
• Develop data quality controls, monitoring, and auditing processes to ensure compliance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with software engineering, DevOps, analytics, and business teams.
• Promote engineering best practices, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement across the data platform.

About The Role
