Resilient Co. is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our platform engineering team. You will design and implement scalable microservices and APIs, focusing on Kubernetes-based deployments in a cloud-native environment.

Responsibilities include building robust backend services, optimizing performance, and enabling enterprise-grade data processing. You will collaborate with architects, DevOps, and product teams to deliver reliable platform features.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering or platform engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on development experience with Python (primary language) and Java.
• Experience building and supporting large-scale distributed systems.
• Expertise developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including production deployment, orchestration, and runtime management of containerized applications.
• Experience with Docker and Helm Charts.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working with high-volume data processing systems and enterprise integrations.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, scalability principles, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with modern source control and collaborative development practices.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Summary

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer (Python/Java) to join our platform engineering team and build enterprise-grade backend services that process large volumes of data and support mission-critical operations. This role focuses on designing and implementing highly scalable, high-performance microservices and APIs using primarily Python (approximately 70%) complemented by Java (30%), with a strong focus on Kubernetes-based deployments and operations.

The role offers ownership across the full software lifecycle—architecture, development, testing, deployment, performance tuning, and production support—within cloud-native and containerized environments. This is an opportunity to shape platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
