Mercado Libre in Buenos Aires is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design, build and scale secure systems for high-traffic e-commerce and fintech services. You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust backend features.

The role centers on Golang with exposure to Java and frontend frameworks, plus testing, monitoring, and performance improvements. Mid-level professionals comfortable with remote collaboration are encouraged to apply.

Formación

• Experience in Golang, with Java and frontend frameworks knowledge.
• Familiarity with generative AI, RAG, machine learning, and BigQuery.
• Experience with unit and integration testing and monitoring tools such as Datadog and Kibana.

What You'll Do

Design and scale innovative and secure systems to solve real-world problems. Actively participate in the design of technical solutions, understanding architecture, quality, and scalability criteria. Develop new features autonomously while applying best practices for quality, security, and performance. Contribute to application monitoring and stability, identifying performance issues and proposing concrete solutions.

What We're Looking For

Experience in Golang, with desirable knowledge in Java and frontend frameworks like React or Angular. Familiarity with generative artificial intelligence, RAG, machine learning, and large-scale data processing tools like BigQuery. Experience in unit and integration testing, technical documentation, and monitoring tools such as Datadog and Kibana.
