Medbill – Software Development Manager (Remote)

Medbill is a durable medical equipment billing company based in the U.S. We are looking for a full‑time remote contractor to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements and architect scalable solutions, breaking work into smaller, achievable tasks.
  • Gather and translate internal and external client requirements into technical design specifications and re‑engineer business processes.
  • Train and supervise Software Engineers, Developers, Site Reliability Engineers, and QA Analysts, developing team procedures and best‑practice standards.
  • Coordinate continuous integration activities and test automation frameworks, while contributing core product code.
  • Build culture and mentor the development team, instilling best practices and delivering high‑quality work on schedule.
  • Ensure competence, chemistry, and contributions of the Software Development and QA teams.
  • Define Software Development Lifecycle processes for development, testing, and deployment.
  • Direct creation of software test plans and report test plan progress.
  • Work with the Product Owner to design and develop metrics reports and data‑analytics dashboards using ADO or similar tools for team productivity goals and accomplishments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computing & Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with coding languages such as React, C#, .NET, C, and Python.
  • Experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
