Job summary

Huenei IT Services is seeking a Technical Manager/Engineering Manager to lead software development teams across Senior and Mid-Level developers. You will define architecture standards, drive agile delivery, and manage projects for local and international clients, primarily with US-based accounts.

You will collaborate closely with analysts, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.

• Lead and coordinate software development teams (Senior and Mid-Level).
• Define and promote architecture standards aligned with business needs.

• Monitor performance with KPIs/OKRs and drive improvement.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, DevOps and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in pre-sales activities and proposals.
• Support team development through feedback and career planning.

• Leading and coordinating software development teams composed of Senior and Mid-Level Developers, ensuring high performance, collaboration, and successful project delivery.
• Defining, communicating, and promoting software architecture standards aligned with business needs, scalability requirements, and development best practices.
• Managing software delivery projects for local and international clients, primarily U.S.-based accounts, through both dedicated teams and turnkey project engagements.
• Planning, executing, and overseeing project activities using Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Monitoring service performance through productivity and quality metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives based on measurable results.
• Collaborating closely with Functional Analysts, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Participating in pre-sales activities, including solution design, technical assessments, effort estimations, and proposal preparation.
• Managing team members' professional development through performance evaluations, continuous feedback, career growth planning, and salary review processes.
• Ensuring adherence to software engineering best practices, including code quality standards, architecture governance, and testing strategies.
• Overseeing the use of project management, task tracking, and source control tools to ensure visibility, traceability, and efficient team collaboration.
• Promoting innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies, tools, and development practices that improve team productivity and delivery outcomes.

If you have…

• Previous experience as a Technical Manager, Engineering Manager, Software Development Manager, Technical Lead Manager, or a similar leadership role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of .NET technologies and modern Frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Desirable experience with Java technologies.
• Proven experience defining, documenting, and communicating software architecture.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with enterprise application integration and system interoperability.
• Solid knowledge of code quality standards, development best practices, and software engineering principles.
• Experience implementing and promoting unit testing practices.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience defining, monitoring, and managing KPIs and OKRs.
• Proficiency with task and project management tools such as Jira.
• Experience using source code version control systems such as Git, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Experience designing and developing user-facing applications and interfaces.
• Strong leadership, people management, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to actively participate in meetings and collaborate with U.S.-based clients and international teams.
• Proactive, results-driven mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools and practices is highly valued.
