Ghost Sherpa is seeking a freelance SEO/GEO Specialist to drive qualified, admissions-focused inquiries. The role emphasizes GEO/AI search visibility and optimizing local Google Business Profiles across multiple locations, with remote work and weekly reporting tied to admissions outcomes.

You will work 10-20 hours per week (PST) for US-based clients, applying technical SEO, content strategy, and AI-citation tactics to position Ghost Sherpa as a trusted source in AI-generated answers.

Formación

• Proven track record in technical SEO with GEO/AI visibility (LLM citation, structured/entity content).
• Experience with local SEO and multi-location Google Business Profile optimization.
• Familiarity with regulated industries (healthcare, legal, or financial services) preferred.
• Ability to build content and technical strategy around conversion intent, not just rankings.

Responsabilidades

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a freelance SEO/GEO Specialist to drive organic and AI-answer visibility. The focus isn't traffic — it's qualified, admittable inquiries: shifting high-traffic informational content toward admissions-intent pages, building payer/level-of-care content architecture, optimizing 7 Google Business Profiles, and positioning the brand as a cited source in AI-generated answers (GEO). Fully remote, with weekly reporting tied to admissions outcomes rather than vanity metrics.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven track record in technical SEO with hands-on experience in GEO / AI search visibility (LLM citation, structured/entity content)
• Working proficiency with Semrush, Screaming Frog, and GA4/Google Search Console
• Experience with local SEO and multi-location Google Business Profile optimization
• Familiarity with regulated industries (healthcare, legal, or financial services) — strongly preferred
• Ability to build content and technical strategy around conversion intent, not just rankings.
