Job summary

Scale Up Recruiting Partners is seeking a Senior Video Editor to work remotely for North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality outputs.

You will enhance video quality, add motion graphics, and tailor content for YouTube, social media, and paid media. Fluency in English and experience with agency environments are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Advanced Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve knowledge.
• Experience editing ads, marketing, or corporate content.
• Strong storytelling with pacing and audience engagement.
• Fluent English and ability to work with U.S.-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to improve engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with design teams to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets with structured workflows.
• Review edits and refine content based on feedback.
• Stay updated on editing techniques and platform trends.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets.
