Job summary

High Scale is seeking a Senior Video Editor to edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns. You will collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to tailor content for YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns.

You'll work with US-based teams, stay updated on editing techniques, and ensure timely delivery of final assets for a remote Latin American setting. A strong storytelling background and experience across platforms are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, agency/marketing background preferred.
• Advanced skills in video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects) and motion graphics.
• Experience editing ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling with pacing and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text, lower thirds, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and formats for multiple platforms.
• Highly organized with multitasking and deadlines.
• Fluent English with ability to work with US-based teams.
• Experience optimizing content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV.

Their team partners with colleges to develop campaigns that drive enrollment and engagement.

In this role, you will edit and optimize video content for advertising, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns. You'll collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality content tailored for platforms like YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns. As part of the agency's expansion into Latin America, you'll play a key role in shaping video content strategies and ensuring seamless execution across projects.

What You'll Do:

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns, ensuring strong storytelling and brand consistency.

• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.

• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations (text overlays, transitions, logo animations) to improve engagement.

• Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails based on distribution channels.

• Collaborate with creative teams -designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.

• Manage video files and organize assets, ensuring structured workflows and version control.

• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.

• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to continuously improve video effectiveness.

• Ensure timely delivery of final assets, accounting for internal and client review steps.

Is This You?

• 3+ years of experience in professional video editing, preferably in an agency, media production, or marketing team setting.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, plus working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.

• Strong storytelling ability, with a clear understanding of pacing, audience engagement, and visual impact.

• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).

• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.

• Highly organized -able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Fluent English communication skills, with the ability to work with U.S.-based teams.

• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with education, technology, corporate, or mission-driven brands.
• Understanding of social media engagement strategies for video.
