Monks is seeking an English-speaking producer to oversee post production. You will supervise and coordinate projects, managing the output of our in-house artists.

• At least 5 years of experience producing VFX and 3D projects.
• Advertising and gaming experience is valuable.

Responsabilidades

• Review client requests and internal needs, assess scope and deadlines.
• Assemble the right team for each project.
• Set up and oversee technical workflows in post production.
• Coordinate with clients and offices to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Collaborate with operations, PMs, producers and creatives to ensure quality.
• Work with 3D animators, directors and producers to ensure high quality output.
• Brief team on objectives and progress; translate client feedback clearly.
• Manage delivery objectives and flag unattainable deadlines early.
• Schedule, track, and prioritize assignments and allocate talent.
• Assist with quoting, scoping, and planning new animation projects.

Description

Monks is looking for a English-speaking producer to oversee post production processes. In this role, you will be supervising and coordinating projects. You’ll be responsible for managing the output of our in-house artists. In this role, clear communication and technical competency are crucial and a big part of your day-to-day job will be to keep everyone informed on the progress and potential pitfalls of projects.

At Monks you’ll work as part of an international production company that creates content for digital platforms. We specialize in working with global brands and agencies to create content that fits with how we consume media today.

Key Responsibilities

• Review incoming requests from clients and internal teams, assessing what needs to be done and when.
• Assemble the right team for the job.
• Set up and supervise technical workflows during the post production process.
• You liaise between our offices and clients to make sure MediaMonks nails milestone after milestone, hustling internal resources to meet external deadlines no matter what.
• You work together with operations, project managers, producers, and creatives to make sure we always achieve the right and highest quality.
• You work with 3D animators, directors, and (film) producers to make sure every pixel is polished to perfection.
• A big part of your day-to-day is briefing team members on delivery objectives and keeping everyone informed on the progress of projects.
• You relay client feedback to the team and look after the quality of their output.
• You translate the complexity of the production needs into lucid language that clients and other outsiders can understand.
• You make sure deadlines are met with lethal precision and flag the ones that aren’t attainable upfront.
• You schedule, track, prioritize assignments, and make sure the right talents are available.
• Last but not least you help to quote, scope, and plan new animation projects together with our department leads.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience producing VFX and 3D projects.
• Previous experience in advertising and gaming is also valuable.
• You have proven planning and communication skills in English.
• You can translate the intricacies of the post production process into clear language that clients and other outsiders can understand.
• You have sufficient technical know-how to foresee and address possible planning or production issues, and preferably have a couple years of hands‑on experience with editing and/or VFX/CGI production.
• You keep up to date with developments in the field of software and hardware.
• You´ve kept up to date with AI evolution and know how to use it to make projects more efficient.
• You excel at multitasking, keeping your cool while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• You work well as part of a team. Being respectful and mindful of all team members creating a healthy work environment where craft can strive.
