Job summary

Cargill seeks a Senior Consultant, Tax Content Architect for LATAM (ARG, CL, CRI, MX). The role centers on technology implementations, governance and enhancements of tax elements in ERP systems, supporting efficient tax determination and reporting.

You will work with the tax team and technology deployment, sustain & optimize teams across LATAM to deliver compliant tax solutions. Based in Rosario, Argentina or other LATAM hubs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluent English language skills - written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills to embed tax requirements in ERP systems or applications.
• Good understanding of tax reporting requirements as well as the basic understanding of statutory requirements and configuration in current technologies.
• Basic understanding of tax functionality in enterprise resource planning systems.
• Experience within or good understanding of an international tax/finance environment.

Responsibilities

• TAX SOLUTIONS: Support the tax technology implementations (ERP and applications), including gathering local tax requirements with country or regional tax experts, assisting on initial design, testing and trainings after go-live.
• TAX ERP ANALYSIS: Build and maintain tax requirements in ERP systems and tax applications, following a standard tax methodology.
• TAX ARCHITECTURE: Ensure tax requirements are designed, documented and implemented consistently across all tax areas using the Tax Methodology, including ERP controls.
• TAX LIASON: Collaborate with other tax content architects and tax managers to reach a joined solution.
