Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Senior Consultant, Tax Content Architect for LATAM (ARG, CL, CRI, MX), based in Rosario, Argentina. You will drive tax-technology implementations, ERP governance and enhancements of tax processes across the LATAM region.

In this role you will partner with tax, IT and business teams to design, validate and optimize tax solutions in ERP systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluent English language skills - written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills to embed tax requirements in ERP systems or applications.
• Good understanding of tax reporting requirements and basic understanding of statutory requirements and configuration in current technologies.
• Basic understanding of tax functionality in enterprise resource planning systems.
• Experience within or good understanding of an international tax/finance environment.

Responsibilities

• Tax solutions: support the tax technology implementations (ERP and applications), including gathering local tax requirements with country or regional tax experts, assisting on the initial design process, performing analysis, testing and assisting on the creation of trainings following a go live.
• Tax ERP analysis: support building and maintenance of tax requirements in ERP systems and tax dedicated applications, following a standard tax methodology to gather and meet tax requirements.
• Tax architecture: assure that the tax requirements are designed, documented and implemented in a consistent manner across all areas within tax using the Tax Methodology, including assisting with the controls in the ERP space, such as the monitoring of tax logic in ERP.
• Tax liaison: Collaborate with other tax content architects and tax managers to come to a joined solution.
