Job summary

Cargill LATAM seeks a Senior Consultant, Tax Content Architect to lead ERP tax solutions, governance and enhancements across ARG, CL, CRI and MX. You will design and implement tax requirements in ERP systems, collaborating with tax and technology teams to improve tax determination and reporting.

The role requires minimum 5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and fluent English. Based in Rosario (Argentina) or other LATAM locations listed, some travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluent English language skills - written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills to embed tax requirements in ERP systems or applications.
• Good understanding of tax reporting requirements as well as the basic understanding of statutory requirements and configuration in current technologies.
• Basic understanding of tax functionality in enterprise resource planning systems.
• Experience within or good understanding of an international tax/finance environment.

Responsibilities

• TAX SOLUTIONS: Support the tax technology implementations (ERP and applications), including gathering local tax requirements with country or regional tax experts, assisting on the initial design process, performing analysis, testing and assisting on trainings following go-live.
• TAX ERP ANALYSIS: Support with building and the maintenance of tax requirements in ERP systems and tax dedicated applications, following a standard tax methodology to gather and meet tax requirements.
• TAX ARCHITECTURE: Assure that the tax requirements are designed, documented and implemented in a consistent manner across all areas within tax using the Tax Methodology, including assisting with the controls in the ERP space, such as monitoring of tax logic in ERP.
• TAX LIASON: Collaborate with other tax content architects and tax managers to come to a joined solution.
