Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Senior Consultant, Tax Content Architect for LATAM to lead technology implementations, governance, and enhancements of tax elements in ERP systems across Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, and Mexico. This role requires collaboration with tax teams and technology deployment to improve tax determination and reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluent English language skills - written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills to embed tax requirements in ERP systems or applications.
• Good understanding of tax reporting requirements as well as the basic understanding of statutory requirements and configuration in current technologies.
• Basic understanding of tax functionality in enterprise resource planning systems.
• Experience within or good understanding of an international tax/finance environment.

Responsibilities

• TAX SOLUTIONS: Support tax technology implementations (ERP and applications), including gathering local tax requirements with country or regional tax experts, assisting design, testing and trainings post go-live.
• TAX ERP ANALYSIS: Maintain tax requirements in ERP systems and tax applications, following a standard methodology.
• TAX ARCHITECTURE: Ensure tax requirements are designed, documented and implemented consistently across tax areas.
• TAX LIASON: Collaborate with other tax content architects and tax managers to reach a joint solution.
