Bluelight Consulting, Llc is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, build and deliver scalable applications using Flask on the backend and React on the frontend. This remote role targets candidates across Latin America with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

You will own end-to-end development, optimize performance, and partner with product and data teams to create robust financial reporting and analytics solutions in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of Python server-side experience with Flask, SQLAlchemy and Celery.
• Frontend development with modern JavaScript/TypeScript using React for SPA.
• Deep experience with relational databases, PostgreSQL, and data-access models.

• Architect, test, and ship end-to-end full-stack software solutions for financial reporting and data visualization.
• Refactor existing software using Agile methodologies to improve maintainability and speed.

Technical Qualifications

• Backend: 5+ years of experience with Python (Flask, SQLAlchemy, Celery) and building complex, service-oriented server logic.
• Frontend: Modern JavaScript/TypeScript development utilizing React for scalable single-page application (SPA) architectures.
• Data Access: Heavy experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL), data storage systems, and advanced data-access models.

• Full-Stack Ownership: Architect, test, and ship end-to-end full-stack software solutions to fulfill complex financial reporting and data visualization needs.
• Optimization: Refactor existing software continuously using Agile methodologies to improve overall maintainability and speed.
