Job summary

EY is seeking a senior software/Platform Engineer to lead delivery of complex projects, shaping solutions from design to deployment. You will drive standards, collaborate across teams, and mentor junior engineers with a focus on scalable systems and AI-enabled capabilities.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in software/platform engineering, strong C#/Java/Python skills, and experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Docker. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, mathematics, or related field.
• More than 10 years of applied experience in software or platform engineering.
• Proficiency with code management, configuration management and automation tools such as GitHub and ADO.
• Strong knowledge of designing, developing, debugging solutions and scalable architectures.
• Experience delivering software/platform engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of solution or infrastructure development for large/complex projects.
• Own design, development, delivery and maintenance, ensuring standards and compliance.
• Translate business and user requirements into technical specifications and designs.
• Provide advanced technical expertise to maximize efficiency and reliability of current solutions.
• Foster collaboration across Development, Engineering and Architecture teams and mentor others.
