Job summary

Bridgenext is seeking a seasoned CRM/mobile engineer to own Flutter-based iOS/Android features and .NET backend work. You will ship mobile apps, build APIs, and maintain production readiness while supporting a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Join a remote LATAM team, collaborate with client engineering leadership, and contribute to performance, security, and scalable architecture. Must work a full Pacific Time day and mentor peers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development with production apps on App Store/Google Play.
• 3+ years of Flutter and Dart on production apps.
• 3+ years of C# and ASP.NET MVC, with .NET Framework 4.8.
• Experience with mobile performance tools, secure storage, and secure API communication.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring.
• Experience carrying a 24/7 on-call rotation and responding to incidents.
• Experience mentoring or leading junior developers.
• Ability to work full Pacific Time business day with the team.

Position Description

This position on our CRM engineering team reports into the client’s engineering leadership. The person owns work on mobile apps, which serve hundreds of thousands of active users on iOS and Android. The apps are built in Flutter, and the role also includes backend work in .NET.

Responsibilities

• Build, ship, and maintain Flutter features for iOS and Android from requirements through release
• Build and change backend APIs and services in ASP.NET MVC on .NET Framework 4.8
• Diagnose and fix mobile performance, memory, battery, connectivity, and device compatibility problems
• Handle data synchronization, push notifications, secure storage, and secure API communication
• Use CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools to ship safely and respond to production issues
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing
• Take part in the team’s two-week rotations, which alternate between Release Developer and Production On-Call
• Release Developer coordinates release builds, makes sure changes merge on time, and deploys to production
• Production On-Call is the first responder to PagerDuty and Slack alerts, 24/7, with a 15 minute response before the alert escalates to engineering leadership. Playbooks exist for each alert type, and some alerts only need monitoring
• Communicate progress, trade-offs, and risks clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Workplace: This is a remote position for candidates based in LATAM, willing to support a client working Pacific timezone hours.

Must Have Skills

• 4 or more years of professional software development experience, with production apps released to the App Store and Google Play
• 3 or more years of Flutter and Dart on production apps
• 3 or more years of C# and ASP.NET MVC, with working knowledge of .NET Framework 4.8
• Experience with mobile performance tools, secure storage, and secure API communication
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring and alerting
• Experience carrying a 24/7 on-call rotation and responding to production incidents
• Experience mentoring or leading less experienced developers
• Ability to work a full Pacific Time business day with the team

Preferred Skills

• AWS experience, including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and Kinesis
• TeamCity, Octopus, PagerDuty, and Datadog experience
• Experience on a legacy .NET Framework codebase, or a move toward modern .NET
• Experience with large user bases, staged rollouts, and feature flags
• CRM or B2B SaaS product experience
