AgileEngine in Argentina is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own and advance a Snowflake-based data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. You will lead operations, optimize warehouses, and guide data ingestion pipelines from Fivetran/HVR, and build robust dbt models.

You will collaborate with Cloud/DevOps, Analytics, Security, and business stakeholders, mentor junior engineers, and participate in on-call rotations, all while upholding data quality and observability standards.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering.
• Strong Snowflake experience including design, performance, and troubleshooting.
• Advanced SQL skills and dbt for transformation, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with Fivetran or HVR and custom ingestion pipelines.
• Hands-on AWS data services, especially S3, with event/file ingestion patterns.
• Experience with Argo Workflows on Kubernetes and similar tooling.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and tooling.
• Understanding of data modeling, dependencies, and data quality.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Data Platform during LatAm coverage.
• Operate and optimize Snowflake production and non-production environments.
• Administer data access with least-privilege and audit-ready controls.
• Design, build, and maintain pipelines and dbt models across RAW, CURATED, CONSUMPTION.
• Support AWS S3 data-lake operations and upstream/downstream workloads.
• Coordinate with Cloud/DevOps, Analytics, Security, and stakeholders on incidents.
• Lead major data incidents, root-cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Mentor engineers and participate in on-call rotation.
