Dexerto is seeking a Senior Video Editor for a fully remote role serving North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists.

The role emphasizes platform optimization (YouTube, social, paid media), color grading, sound design, and motion graphics. You will help shape video content strategies across Latin America expansion and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Agency, media production, or marketing team background.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Advanced Premiere Pro skills; knowledge of After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing ads, marketing, or corporate content.
• Strong storytelling, pacing, and engagement, with motion graphics familiarity.
• Color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media.

What You'll Do:

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns, ensuring strong storytelling and brand consistency.

• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.

• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations (text overlays, transitions, logo animations) to improve engagement.

• Optimize videos for different platforms , ensuring correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails based on distribution channels.

• Collaborate with creative teams —designers, copywriters, and strategists—to align visuals with marketing goals.

• Manage video files and organize assets , ensuring structured workflows and version control.

• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.

• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to continuously improve video effectiveness.

• Ensure timely delivery of final assets , accounting for internal and client review steps.

Is This You?

• 3+ years of experience in professional video editing, preferable in an agency, media production, or marketing team setting.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro , plus working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.

• Strong storytelling ability , with a clear understanding of pacing, audience engagement, and visual impact.

• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).

• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.

• Highly organized —able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Fluent English communication skills , with ability to work with U.S.-based teams.

• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with education, technology, corporate, or mission-driven brands.

• Understanding of social media engagement strategies for video.

• Comfort presenting work and discussing revisions with clients.
