Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to drive quality across our software lifecycle in Rosario, Argentina. You will design and maintain regression tests, write robust automation scripts, and execute a range of testing types to ensure product quality for Fortune 500 brands and startups.

Collaborating with product and engineering teams, you will implement behavior-driven development with Gherkin, contribute to CI pipelines, and help build scalable QA practices while enjoying flexible

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
3+ years of experience in automated testing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience writing and working with Gherkin for BDD.
Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on criteria.
Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
Record pass/fails conditions and correlate to bugs.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure quality throughout SDLC.
Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback.
Participate in refinement and estimations of effort for planning.
Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories and run scripts.
Participate in On-Call rotation.
