Satellogic is seeking an Optomechanical Senior Engineer to lead the design and analysis of high‑performance imaging hardware, with a focus on telescopes and optical elements. You will work with the optoelectronics team to validate designs through rigorous lab and plant tests.

Travel to suppliers and manufacturing sites, plus coordination with global teams, will be required. 5+ years in optics/optomechanics, and strong English, are essential for success.

Formación

• Degree in optical engineering or related field; 5+ years in optics or optomechanics.
• Experience leading complex engineering projects with tight deadlines.
• Strong English proficiency and travel readiness.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and analysis of high-performance imaging hardware, focusing on telescopes and optical elements.
• Collaborate with optoelectronics and other engineers to validate designs in lab and plant.
• Define technical requirements and verification methods for optical elements and assemblies.
• Develop and manage integration, test plans, and supplier interaction for optical components.
• Provide technical input for future payload developments and continuous improvement.
