Job summary

Bluelight is seeking a mobile developer to join a remote product studio building offline-first iOS and Android apps with React Native. You’ll own the mobile stack from project setup through launch, review teammates’ diffs, write tests, and ensure reliable sync, storage, and releases.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building mobile apps with React Native
• Offline-first architectures with local storage and retry logic
• Performance tuning for low-end Android devices
• English communication for client updates and PR notes
• Experience following written acceptance criteria

Responsibilities

• Set up developer accounts, signing, and CI/testing tracks
• Build local storage, write queue, and retry logic for offline mode
• Define sync and upload APIs with backend, resolve conflicts
• Implement phone-number sign-in and push-notifications fallback
• Handle store submissions and app monitoring for issues
• Deliver features aligned with acceptance criteria within sprints
