Worley is seeking an experienced leader to oversee start-up and facility operations on large energy projects. The role directs on-site teams, guides field engineering, procurement, and field administration, and ensures compliance with project directives.

You will review designs, propose design changes for safety and operability, and develop policy and procedural improvements. The position requires strong supervisory experience and the ability to influence decisions at senior levels.

Formación

• University degree or equivalent in related field.
• Typically 15+ years of relevant experience including supervisory, project management and/or technical experience.
• Advanced understanding of field systems, processes and tools; able to troubleshoot.

Job Title

The individual is responsible for all start-up and facility operations, recommends policy and procedural changes, reviews project(s) designs, and recommends design changes to ensure safe and operable project(s). Directs the efforts of start-up and operations staff.

Responsibilities

Ability to troubleshoot and develop tactical plans for implementing organizational goals and oversee the design of new concepts and ideas related to projects as well as functional area of expertise; Broad knowledge of functional area and ability to implement and lead organizational project change effectively; Solutions are derived from interpreted and applied general information and consultation with other individuals.

Works with self-initiated interaction with supervisor and self-initiated technical guidance. Influence over duties. Receives administrative direction based on project and organization policies and objectives. Work is reviewed to ensure conformity with project directives, policy and for coordination of other company departments.

Manages and directs work directly or through supervisors or professionals leading others. Has authority for performance evaluations impacting pay. Makes decisions as to the selection, training, discipline and remuneration of staff. Assigns program work that involves several projects and sets policy framework for project work.

Effectively communicate and present complex proposals and reports to senior level management. Ability to persuade and influence others. Participative management style with a cooperative team approach.

What You Will Bring

• Typically located at the site, directs and coordinates all on-site activities associated with the completion of a project. In addition to construction supervision, these activities may include field administration, procurement, and field engineering. Typical Project Size Guidelines: Large size project having 2 to 5 million construction man-hours or a total installed cost of $400 to $1 billion, experience in Minning or Oil & Gas project.
• University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Typically 15+ years relevant experience including supervisory, project management and/or technical experience.
• Advanced understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues. May be involved in the development of new systems, processes and tools.
