Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Senior Consultant, Tax Content Architect for LATAM (ARG, CL, CRI, MX). Based in Rosario, Argentina or other LATAM hubs, you will lead tax technology implementations in ERP systems and govern how tax rules are modeled across the region.

You will gather local tax requirements with country experts, design and test tax configurations, and collaborate with tax, DT&D, and deployment teams to improve tax determination and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluent English language skills - written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills to embed tax requirements in ERP systems or applications.
• Good understanding of tax reporting requirements as well as the basic understanding of statutory requirements and configuration in current technologies.
• Basic understanding of tax functionality in enterprise resource planning systems.
• Experience within or good understanding of an international tax/finance environment.

Responsibilities

• TAX SOLUTIONS: Support the tax technology implementations (ERP and applications), including the gathering of local tax requirements with country or regional tax experts, assisting on the initial design process, performing analysis, testing and assisting on the creation of trainings following a go live.
• TAX ERP ANALYSIS: Support with building and the maintenance of tax requirements in ERP systems and tax dedicated applications, following a standard tax methodology to gather and meet tax requirements.
• TAX ARCHITECTURE: Assure that the tax requirements are designed, documented and implemented in a consistent manner across all areas within tax using the Tax Methodology, including assisting with the controls in the ERP space, such as the monitoring of tax logic in ERP.
• TAX LIASON: Collaborate with other tax content architects and tax managers to come to a joined solution.
