Canonical is hiring a senior software engineer to join the Kubernetes product team. You will build operators and addons, enabling lifecycle management of mission‑critical components and seamless project integration into Kubernetes.

This remote position is open across the EMEA and Americas regions, with travel 2–4 weeks per year for internal and external events. You will work with a distributed team, mentor colleagues, and contribute to open source Linux and cloud initiatives.

Formación

• Proficient in Golang and Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM or similar degree.

Responsabilidades

• Write high‑quality code to create new features.
• Debug issues and interact with a vibrant community.
• Collaborate proactively with a distributed team.
• Mentor, develop, and advise colleagues on their career progression.
