Compass International Holdings is seeking a Sr Fullstack Engineer to design and build production-grade backend services using Java and Spring Boot, while migrating legacy Node.js/TypeScript systems to Java. The role emphasizes strong testing with JUnit and experience with AWS serverless architectures.

You will contribute to full-stack initiatives, utilizing React where appropriate, and work in a remote-capable, globally distributed team environment under Deel.

Formación

• 7+ years of backend-focused software engineering experience.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Proven Java and Spring Boot production experience.
• Experience modernizing legacy Node.js/TypeScript to Java.
• Strong knowledge of AWS serverless (Lambda, ECS, SNS).

Responsabilidades

• Design and build production backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Drive legacy migrations from Node.js/TypeScript to Java.
• Apply rigorous unit and integration testing with JUnit.
• Leverage cloud-native architectures and event-driven patterns.
• Collaborate on full-stack initiatives using React where applicable.
