The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to join the Content Platform Engineering team, focusing on scalable backend services and ML-ready pipelines. You will design and implement robust software that powers Disney’s media distribution and content operations.

You will collaborate with product teams and data scientists to deliver reliable systems, uphold engineering best practices, and mentor teammates in a fast-paced, cloud-native environment.

Formación

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with Java.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and backend systems.
• Experience designing REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, testing strategies, and best practices.
• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures (Kafka, SNS, SQS).
• Nice to have: Python, computer vision, or ML experience.
