ELEKS Software Engineering & Development Office in Buenos Aires seeks a Senior Java/AI Developer to design and implement AI-powered features. The role combines backend work in Java/Python with leveraging LLMs and prompt engineering to enhance existing applications.

The position is hybrid: 2–3 days onsite at the local office and remaining days remote, with working hours aligned to ART time. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in Java or Python and hands-on LLM experience.

ELEKS Software Engineering & Development Office is looking for a Senior Java/AI Developer based in Buenos Aires for a hybrid position: 2–3 days per week onsite at our local office, with the remaining days remote.

Working hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00/7:00 PM ART.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java and/or Python
• Hands-on experience working with LLMs (integration, evaluation, or architecture)
• Practical experience with prompt engineering
• Understanding of API design and backend service development

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
• Experience with vector databases and embeddings
• MLOps or LLMOps exposure
