Job summary

Medallia is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to manage collaboration tools (Google Workspace and Slack), enhance employee experience through secure integrations, and partner with internal and external teams to ensure performance and security. Hybrid work with at least three onsite days per week at our Buenos Aires office.

You will automate workflows, support end users and conference rooms, and travel to global offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing collaboration tools in enterprise environments including Slack and Google Meet management, automation, and integrations.
• 1+ year of Google Workspace administration and security including GAM.

The Role and Team

As a Senior IT Systems Engineer at Medallia, you will focus on managing and optimizing collaboration tools such as Google Workspace and Slack. You will enhance the employee experience through secure, seamless integrations and automation across these platforms, while collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure consistent performance and security.
This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of three days per week onsite in our Buenos Aires office in the Palermo barrio. While the primary focus of the role is Collaboration Services engineering and administration, the position will also provide secondary onsite IT support as needed, including hands-on end-user, conference room, and workplace technology support.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Slack).
• Automate workflows and optimize tool integration across SaaS platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT goals with business needs.
• Troubleshoot complex systems and ensure a secure, high-performing environment.
• Maintain a regular onsite presence at least three days per week and serve as a secondary escalation/support resource for onsite IT needs, including end-user technology, conference rooms, collaboration systems, and other workplace technology issues as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing collaboration tools in enterprise environments including experience with Slack and Google Meets management, and automation and integrations.
• 1+ year of experience with Google Workspace administration and security including Google Apps Manager(GAM).
• Demonstrated knowledge of identity management and SSO solutions (e.g., Okta) and security best practices for collaboration tools.
• Demonstrated experience in scripting (e.g., Google Apps Script, Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• Ability to work onsite a minimum of three days per week and travel to global offices for projects as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Workspace Administrator certification.
• Experience with Slack Enterprise features and Google Meets Room management.
• Knowledge of VoIP systems (e.g., Zoom Phone, Google Voice).
• Experience with API-based integrations and automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Workato).
• Project management experience related to rolling out collaboration tools.
