EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to build high-performance iOS applications with a focus on UX and quality. You will work with designers, product partners, QA, and engineers in a fast-paced environment to ship robust features.

You will modernize legacy Objective-C code, implement Swift-based features, and reinforce testing, profiling, and CI/CD practices across a globally distributed team.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 3+ years of iOS development with Swift.
• Experience maintaining or migrating Objective-C legacy code.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Proficiency with unit and integration testing.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• English proficiency: B2.

We are seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to develop and improve iOS applications with a sharp focus on performance, stability, and user experience. You will work alongside designers, product partners, QA, and engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine iOS features using Swift with attention to usability and code quality
• Support and modernize legacy Objective-C areas while cutting down technical debt
• Craft solutions for open-ended product and technical challenges alongside your team
• Improve application performance through profiling, analysis, and focused enhancements
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve defects throughout the app lifecycle
• Create unit and integration tests to safeguard critical behavior and prevent regressions
• Connect the app with backend services and resolve integration challenges
• Apply continuous integration patterns to keep builds quick and dependable
• Leverage build tools to automate workflows and boost developer productivity
• Partner with designers, product owners, QA, and engineers to deliver iteratively
• Exchange ideas, review code, and contribute to a healthy engineering culture
• Cooperate effectively with a globally distributed team across time zones

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience building iOS applications with Swift
• Background in maintaining or migrating Objective-C legacy code
• Knowledge of solid software development methodology and ability to iterate under ambiguity
• Skills in debugging to identify root causes and resolve issues efficiently
• Expertise in performance optimization across profiling, analysis, and tuning of iOS apps
• Proficiency in testing with unit and integration tests to ensure quality
• Competency in solution design to break down open-ended problems into shippable increments
• Showcase of an ownership mindset to self-start, prioritize work, and manage time effectively
• Qualifications in collaboration working with cross-functional partners in a small team
• Capability to communicate clearly to share ideas and contribute to technical discussions
• English proficiency: B2 (Upper-Intermediate)

• Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI workflows
• Understanding of the MVVM Architecture pattern
