Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Sr Security Engineer in its Cybersecurity & Technology Controls team.

You will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cryptographic infrastructure and Hardware Security Module solutions to safeguard payment systems and sensitive data. You will contribute across the lifecycle from architecture to runbooks, partnering with cross‑functional teams globally to uphold firm-wide security standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in security engineering concepts.
• 5+ years applied security engineering experience with HSMs and cryptographic infrastructure.
• Proficient Linux/Unix administration in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and document HSM and cryptographic infrastructure aligning with resiliency and security requirements.
• Leverage AI capabilities to accelerate security risk analysis and validation of outputs.
• Design, deploy, configure, and lifecycle-manage HSM solutions across platforms.
• Create architectural diagrams, runbooks, and system documentation for operational excellence.
• Collaborate to define infrastructure standards, security controls, and industry-aligned policies.
• Oversee migrations, upgrades, and consolidations of HSM infrastructure with minimal disruption.
• Provide guidance on cryptographic key management, secure storage, and compliance with PCI DSS and FIPS.
