Compass International Holdings seeks a senior backend engineer to design and build production-grade services using Java and Spring Boot. You will migrate legacy Node.js/TypeScript services to a modern Java architecture, ensuring quality with unit and integration tests, and leveraging AWS serverless technologies to scale event-driven systems.

You will also integrate agentic AI coding tools into daily development and, when applicable, contribute to front-end work with React for full-stack

Formación

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong backend focus with Java/Spring Boot expertise.
• Experience migrating Node.js/TypeScript to Java encouraged.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build robust production backend services in Java/Spring Boot.
• Own legacy migrations to modern Java architecture.
• Maintain unit and integration tests with JUnit.
• Utilize AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, ECS, SNS).
• Incorporate agentic AI coding tools into daily workflows.
• Contribute to full-stack work with React when needed.
