Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build backend services and content experiences within a Unified CMS platform. You will work with Node.js, React, and Next.js to develop REST and GraphQL integrations, manage content models in a headless CMS, and support personalization and A/B testing.

AI-assisted development is part of daily practice. We expect 4+ years of software engineering, strong Node.js, Next.js, and CMS experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Node.js and backend development.
• Next.js or similar SSR framework experience.
• Backend services and REST APIs.
• GraphQL or gRPC experience.
• Third-party API integrations.
• Headless CMS experience: Contentstack/Contentful/Strapi or similar.
• Reusable UI components and dynamic forms.
• Unit, integration, and E2E testing.
• Experience with Jest/Playwright/RTL for testing.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with ESLint and Prettier for code quality.
• AI-assisted development practices welcomed; not AI engineering focus.
• Personalization and A/B testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and API integrations for Unified CMS and global web experiences.
• Develop Node.js services, REST APIs, and GraphQL/gRPC integrations.
• Build React components and content blocks powering CMS and marketing experiences.
• Develop and optimize SSR/SSG workflows with Next.js or similar frameworks.
• Implement content models and manage schema changes within Contentstack.
• Build reusable UI components using CSS-in-JS libraries.
• Integrate third-party APIs and troubleshoot data flows end-to-end.
• Support personalization and A/B testing across experiences.
• Develop and maintain automated unit/integration/E2E tests.
• Apply AI-assisted development practices to improve productivity and quality.

• Integrate third-party APIs and services and troubleshoot end-to-end data flows
• Support personalization and A/B testing across Unified CMS experiences
• Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and E2E tests
• Apply AI-assisted development practices to improve productivity, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting
• Contribute to platform performance, scalability, reliability, and stability
• Participate in Git-based development workflows and CI/CD processes
