Applaudo is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer who enjoys solving complex business problems with scalable technology. You will work across the stack with React.js, React Native, backend services, APIs, databases, and cloud environments, taking ideas from concept to deployment with independence.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in CS, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 5+ years in full-stack/end-to-end delivery.
• Strong production experience with React.js and React Native across web and mobile.
• Experience building backend services, APIs, databases, and third-party integrations.
• Cloud experience with AWS or similar, and production software delivery practices.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or equivalent).

Responsabilidades

• Partner with leadership to understand business challenges and opportunities, translating them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and iterate on solutions across web, mobile, backend services, APIs, databases, and integrations.
• Develop and maintain React.js and React Native applications and backend services.
• Own technical decisions throughout the lifecycle balancing speed, reliability, and maintainability.
• Support cloud infrastructure, deployments, performance, and production troubleshooting.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to improve development velocity and productivity.
• Continuously iterate on solutions based on usage and feedback.

You are an experienced Full Stack Engineer who enjoys solving complex business problems through practical and scalable technology solutions. You are comfortable working across the stack, with strong experience in React.js, React Native, backend services, APIs, databases, and cloud-based environments. You can move from understanding a business problem to designing, building, and deploying a solution with a high degree of independence.

You thrive in startup, scale-up, or high-growth environments where ownership is broad, priorities evolve quickly, and speed matters. You know how to balance rapid delivery with sound technical judgment, making pragmatic decisions around architecture, scalability, reliability, and security. You are comfortable working directly with business stakeholders, challenging assumptions when needed, and leveraging modern AI-powered development tools to accelerate development and turn ideas into production-ready solutions.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, including 5+ years of hands-on experience building and delivering full-stack or end-to-end software solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience developing production web applications using React.js.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining production mobile applications using React Native.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining backend services and APIs using modern technologies.
• Experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases, including data modeling, performance, and optimization.
• Experience designing and implementing third-party integrations and managing data flows across multiple systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and the ability to make pragmatic technical decisions based on business and product needs.
• Experience working with AWS or similar cloud environments and supporting cloud-based applications in production.
• Experience with CI/CD, deployments, monitoring, debugging, and production troubleshooting.
• Experience working in startup, scale-up, or high-growth environments with broad technical ownership and evolving priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to independently take business or product problems from concept through design, implementation, deployment, and iteration.
• Strong technical judgment with the ability to balance speed and experimentation with scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Experience working directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and challenging assumptions when needed.
• Hands-on experience using AI-powered coding and development tools to improve development, testing, debugging, and delivery workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, ownership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or equivalent).

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with business leadership to understand business challenges, product opportunities, customer needs, and operational friction.
• Translate high-level and ambiguous business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and iterate on solutions across web, mobile, backend services, APIs, databases, and integrations.
• Develop and maintain React.js and React Native applications.
• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting the platform and its evolving needs.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party platforms, partners, and external services.
• Own technical decisions throughout the development lifecycle while balancing speed, reliability, scalability, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of platform architecture and overall technical health.
• Support cloud infrastructure, deployments, application performance, and production troubleshooting.
• Identify opportunities to automate internal and operational processes through technology and integrations.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools and modern engineering practices to improve development velocity and productivity.
• Continuously iterate on solutions based on real-world usage, customer feedback, and evolving business needs.
• Identify when additional specialized technical expertise or resources are required to support platform growth.
