Job summary

Motum is seeking a remote contractor to work with US-based teams, building features across Angular, NestJS and Postgres. You will own end-to-end delivery from scoping to production, moving quickly with a startup mentality and shipping value at speed.

The role requires English proficiency (C1-C2) and LATAM residency, with responsibilities spanning frontend, backend and APIs. Experience handling HIPAA-aware data is a plus.

Qualifications

• Core stack experience with Angular, NestJS and Postgres, or ability to ramp quickly.
• Strong full-stack experience delivering production web apps end to end.
• Good fundamentals: clean code, testing, code reviews, Git workflows.
• Comfort with ambiguity on a small, fast-moving team.

You'll build and ship features across the stack, from idea to production, then keep pushing them forward based on real feedback. You won't just get a spec and a lane; you'll get a mission and the room to figure out how to hit it, moving across the codebase as the problem demands. This role is for someone with a startup mentality, someone who does whatever it takes to exceed the roadmap, not just meet it. It's fast paced and high ownership. Responsibilities

• Build features end to end across our Angular / NestJS / Postgres stack, covering frontend, backend, and APIs
• Take work from scoping through shipping, testing, and iterating on real feedback
• Pitch in across the codebase wherever the team needs it as a versatile generalist
• Write clean, maintainable, well tested code and help raise our engineering standards
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and the rest of engineering
• Build responsibly with sensitive health data (HIPAA aware)

Requirements

• Required of every role: our core stack (hands-on experience with Angular, NestJS, and Postgres, or the proven ability to ramp into them quickly). Whatever your specialty, you'll do regular full-stack work in this stack, not only your focus area
• Solid full-stack experience shipping production web applications end to end
• Strong software fundamentals, including clean code, testing, code review, and Git workflows
• A bias to ship and comfort with ambiguity on a small, fast-moving team
• A collaborative, ownership-driven mindset, happy to work across the stack and the product
• Bonus: early-stage startup experience, consumer or health product experience, exposure to AI/LLM features
