Darwoft seeks a Senior Frontend / UX Engineer to join a fast-growing fintech environment. Build production-ready interfaces for a digital wallet, using React/TypeScript, and leverage AI tools to extend frontend capabilities across the stack.

You will own features end-to-end, collaborating with design and product teams, and focusing on UX, performance, and accessibility in a remote LATAM setting.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building fintech apps, digital wallets, or payment platforms.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, usability, and interaction design.
• Proven track record turning designs into production-ready UI.
• Experience translating Figma/UI designs into working apps.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools to speed development.
• Experience with REST APIs and Backend for Frontend architectures.
• Strong frontend architecture and reusable components; state management.
• Experience working in Agile product development.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving in distributed teams.
• Willingness to work in a production code environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality frontend for a Digital Wallet.
• Translate UX/UI designs into functional, responsive applications.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to improve user journeys and usability.
• Own features end-to-end from requirements to delivery.
• Use AI-powered tools to accelerate frontend and full-stack work.
• Develop and maintain BFF services supporting application requirements.
• Implement API integrations and backend functionality when needed.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and maintainability across the app.
• Participate in code reviews and improve development practices.
• Explore AI-assisted engineering to simplify workflows.
