Job summary

vidIQ is seeking a frontend-leaning software engineer to own end-to-end product surfaces, combining UI, APIs, and data flows. You will shape the roadmap, ship features, and ensure production performance while embracing AI-enhanced tooling.

This remote role spans the stack and requires designing robust APIs and mentoring teammates within a global, remote-first team. You will work across the stack with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Vite, and Tailwind, and you’ll collaborate on AI-powered experiences

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong frontend focus with ability to design APIs, write server-side code, and debug cross-boundary issues.
• Self-driven, owner mindset with track record of leading projects end-to-end.
• Clear communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Own product surfaces end to end, including UI, APIs, data flows, and production performance.
• Work across the stack, building backend APIs and services when needed.
• Drive your own roadmap by turning feedback into proposals aligned with product and design.
• Build AI-powered features across the stack from backend to UX.
• Fix architecture and performance bottlenecks and improve system durability.
• Mentor teammates through code reviews and sharing best practices.
• Maintain high-quality code and collaborate with AI-assisted workflows.
