Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of frontend experience, mastery of HTML/CSS/JS, and hands-on use of AI tools like Claude Code and Copilot. Expect EST/EDT hours and a USD salary, with a path to onsite work in BA.

Job Summary

As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will drive the development and delivery of highly performant, scalable UI components and proprietary front-end implementations. This long-term role centers on crafting butter-smooth animations, enforcing strict accessibility standards at a massive scale, and pioneering the use of modern AI-assisted development tools to dramatically enhance code quality and velocity. The ideal candidate is an autonomous, detail-oriented professional with a passion for emerging UI trends, ready to thrive in a remote setting that will transition to an onsite model in Buenos Aires by mid-2027.

Responsibilities

• Build performant, scalable, and cross-browser compatible UI components for high-profile global brands.

• Lead front-end initiatives and write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

• Craft pixel-perfect animations and highly interactive user experiences.

• Implement accessible web content, including ARIA, screen readers, and keyboard navigation at scale.

• Contribute to core libraries and proprietary development methodologies.

• Participate actively in code reviews and continuous skills development.

• Leverage AI tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot as an integrated part of the daily software development lifecycle.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• Currently a remote position, but requires a mandatory transition to working onsite in Buenos Aires starting in July 2027.

• 5+ years of experience in front-end web development with comprehensive mastery of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Proven ability to lead front-end projects independently with minimal oversight.

• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and cross-browser/device testing skills.

• Practical experience and active daily usage of AI development tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.

• Excellent verbal and written communication, coupled with strong time management skills.

• Ability to work EST/EDT timezone hours, starting remotely with an expected transition to an onsite setup in Buenos Aires in July 2027.

• Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Svelte, or Vue is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with build and version control tools, including Webpack, Gulp, Git, and Gitflow, is a plus.

• Experience with styling preprocessors and methodologies like Sass, Less, or CSS-in-JS is highly desired.

• Practical knowledge of web performance optimization techniques, including code splitting and layout/paint optimization, is preferred.

• Deep understanding of web accessibility standards, including ARIA, screen readers, and tab focus, is a significant advantage.

• Experience creating advanced animations and interactive graphics using GSAP, Canvas, SVGs, or TweenMax is a strong plus.

• Interest in emerging UI/tech trends and practical experience with unit and headless testing are nice to have.
