Job summary

Bechtel Argentina seeks an Environmental Permits Manager to oversee obtaining, maintaining and monitoring environmental permits for mining and energy projects. You will coordinate with provincial and national authorities, ensure compliance with regulations, and translate requirements into engineering criteria to keep the project on schedule.

The role requires a university degree in a relevant field, experience with environmental permits, and strong communication skills in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree with licensure/registration in relevant jurisdiction.
• Experience or training in environmental or regulatory compliance is desirable.
• Strong communication with public authorities and project teams required.
• Experience in mining, energy or EPC/EPCM environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project permits matrix and ensure timely processing.
• Prepare, review and submit Environmental Impact Reports and updates.
• Coordinate with provincial and national authorities and environmental consultants.
• Maintain environmental constraints and translate requirements into engineering design criteria.
• Report status and risks to project management and ensure regulatory compliance.
