Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Natural Resources, Geological Sciences or Biological Sciences, with professional registration in the corresponding jurisdiction, between 5 and 8 years of professional practice in environmental management and permits, with at least 3 years in mining, energy or infrastructure projects in Argentina.
• A graduate degree, major or diploma in environmental management, environmental impact assessment or environmental law is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the project permits matrix with deadlines and submissions.
• Prepare, review and submit Environmental Impact Report and biennial updates.
• Manage associated sectoral permits: water use, effluent, emissions, hazardous waste, soil movement, vegetation, transport of hazardous substances.
• Maintain dialogue with authorities, respond to observations and audits.
• Alert and sequence critical-permit routes to protect the project schedule.
