Visa Hunt is seeking a senior developer to take ownership of development across our web applications and SaaS products. You will build new features, review and improve code, and work with leadership to align technical work with our long-term vision.

Strong communication in English is essential. You will design scalable systems, evaluate AI-assisted code, and manage deployments on Vercel or similar platforms.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience.
• Proven ability to work within and improve existing codebases.
• Experience building and maintaining web applications or SaaS products.
• Strong understanding of frontend and/or full-stack development.
• APIs and integrations, GitHub workflows, and deployment platforms (Vercel preferred).
• Experience reviewing code for quality, security, and scalability.

Role Overview

You will take ownership of development across our web applications and SaaS products. This includes building new features, reviewing and improving existing code, managing technical projects, and ensuring our systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with our long-term vision. You will work closely with leadership and non-technical team members, so strong communication and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear direction is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Code Ownership

• Build, test, and deploy features for our SaaS web applications
• Read, analyze, and improve existing codebases
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability
• Identify and fix vulnerabilities, inefficiencies, and poor architecture
• Establish and enforce development best practices and standards

Technical Strategy & Architecture

• Design systems and features with long-term scalability in mind
• Make decisions on frameworks, tools, and structure
• Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy and quality before implementation
• Optimize performance and system reliability

Project Management

• Own development timelines and deliverables
• Break down projects into clear tasks and milestones
• Collaborate with internal team members (marketing, ops, leadership)
• Ensure projects move forward proactively without constant oversight

AI-Enhanced Development

• Use tools like Claude and Abacus to accelerate development where appropriate

Prompt effectively and refine outputs

Validate and improve AI-generated code (not blindly trust it)

• Manage code through GitHub workflows
• Deploy and maintain applications via Vercel (or similar platforms)
• Handle integrations, APIs, and third-party tools
• Troubleshoot bugs, outages, and performance issues

Who You Are

• Experienced enough to recognise bad code, security risks, and poor structure immediately
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with evolving products
• Highly proactive — you don’t wait to be told what to do
• Strong communicator with excellent English (written and verbal)
• Organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

• 5+ years of hands‑on development experience
• Proven ability to work within and improve existing codebases
• Experience building and maintaining web applications or SaaS products
• Strong understanding of:
  • Frontend and/or full‑stack development
  • APIs and integrations
  • GitHub workflows
  • Deployment platforms (Vercel preferred)
• Experience reviewing code for quality, security, and scalability
