Strider seeks an experienced Database Administrator to own the database and data estate end-to-end. You will upgrade Windows Server OS across an Always On cluster, manage SQL Server self-managed on EC2 and MySQL on RDS, and drive data standards across engineering teams.

You will ensure high availability, backups, and cost-conscious operations while partnering with the data platform team. The role requires deep AWS experience, strong English communication, and a track record of end-to-end

Formación

• 7+ years of professional database experience with SQL Server and MySQL.
• Hands-on SQL Server administration and upgrades in AWS or on-prem environments.
• Experience with Always On, failover clustering, and high availability.
• Ability to define database standards and review schema and data access design.
• Strong English communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Own the database and data estate end-to-end, upgrading and setting standards.
• Operate BYOL SQL Server on EC2 and MySQL on RDS, with monitoring and security.
• Perform Windows Server OS upgrades and manage HA, backup, and DR testing.
• Define data governance, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
• Provide data observability and act as technical authority for data across teams.
• Collaborate with data platform and engineering to mature the estate.
