JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Software Engineer III in Buenos Aires to design and own data integration and backend services. You will build pipelines from Snowflake and external sources into Oracle/Elasticsearch, focusing on data modeling, quality, and AI-enabled features.

You will collaborate with Data Scientists on vectorization and SI/LLM readiness, using Java Spring Boot and Python, while ensuring secure, scalable solutions for hundreds of users.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years in software engineering with data architecture and backend focus.
• Strong data modeling and database design for complex schemas.
• Proficiency in Java and Python for production-grade development.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience and SQL/data warehousing patterns.
• Experience building production data pipelines with monitoring and quality checks.
• REST API design and Spring Boot backend experience.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines from Snowflake, ServiceNow APIs, and external sources into Oracle with Elasticsearch indexing.
• Architect schemas, transformations, and data models for query performance and relevance.
• Own data quality, observability, and performance with freshness checks and SLAs.
• Establish data accessibility via REST APIs and MCP Server interfaces for AI/LLM consumption.
• Develop backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and Python for analytics and AI features.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists on vectorization and data prep for LLM-based features.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining security and quality.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and participate in production deployments and incident triage.
