Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Python/Go) focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors for a 100% remote role in LATAM. You will work closely with customers to design scalable ingestion pipelines across cloud environments and security data sources, applying modern software practices and tooling.

The position emphasizes data engineering, integration work, and direct customer collaboration, with a focus on reliability and production readiness in enterprise contexts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software/data/ platform engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Go development skills.
• Proven experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, security tools, and SIEM systems.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments, data flows, and integration constraints.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data such as events, logs, and telemetry.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven patterns.
• Develop backend services using Python and/or Go and work with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes and deploy across AWS/Azure/GCP.
